শেহজ়াদা কামার অল জামান বিয়ে করতে চায় না। তাই জিনজুরের বুদ্ধিতে এক মোক্ষম দান চালে সুলতান শাহরিমান। কিন্তু সে দান ভণ্ডুল হয়ে যায়। তবে সেই ভণ্ডুল দানের পথ ধরেই শেহজ়াদা ভালোবেসে ফেলে রাজকুমারী বদরকে। আর তারপর? বদর যে হারিয়ে যায়! শেহজ়াদা তাকে খুঁজে পায় কি আবার? সেই কাহানি শুনিয়ে খলিফাকে ঘুম পাড়ানোর কাহানি ধরে বেগম। এবং ছোট্ট সে কাহানির পর শুরু হয় এক পুতুল ঘোড়ার কাহানি।
