PM distances himself from key recommendation in healthy eating report

Years in the making but with key solutions seemingly ruled out by the Prime Minister within hours of publication - will the National Food Strategy ever be put into practice?

They say the government should introduce a tax on sugar and salt to encourage food producers to use less; get fresh fruit & vegetables to low-income families; and use the money raised to get more fresh fruit and veg to low-income families which could be done partly by making free school meals available to more children.
