REQUIREMENTS IN SECURING BUILDING PERMITS
1.0 LEGAL DOCUMENTS AND CLEARANCES
Certified Blue Copy of Transfer Certificate of Title
Tax Clearance or RPT Receipt & Bill
Tax Declaration of the property
If the lot is not in the name of the applicant:
Deed of Absolute Sale
Award Notice and/or Lease Contract
Deed of Assignment or Donation
Duly Notarized Authorization of Representative
Others
Duly Notarized Authorization of Representative
For Corporation:
Authority to sign (Corporate Secretary’s Affidavit)
Supplemental Documents (if applicable)
MMDA, DPWH
Affidavit of Undertaking, Consent, etc. (if necessary)
2.0 LOCATIONAL CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Application form for Locational Clearance
Lot Plan (signed and sealed by a Geodetic Engineer)
Architectural Plan
BP 344 (Accessibility Law) compliance, if applicable
Site Development Plan (showing parking layout)
Building Permit and/or Certificate of Occupancy, previous Locational Clearance and (1) complete set of previous approved building plans, if application is renovation, addition or extension
3.0 FIRE SAFETY EVALUATION CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Fire Safety Evaluation Clearance Application Form
Fire Protection Plans, if applicable (refer to the Fire Code of the Philippines)
Cost Estimate/Bill of Materials (signed and sealed)
4.0 TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS
Application forms must be duly accomplished, signed and sealed by the professionals & signed by the owner/s)
Notarized Building Permit Application Form (Signed/sealed by an Architect)
Plumbing Permit Application Form (Signed/sealed by a MasterPlumber)
Electrical Permit Application Form(Signed/sealed by a Prof. Elec. Engr.)
Mechanical Permit Application Form(Signed/sealed by a Prof. Mech. Engr.)
Electronics Permit Application Form (Signed/sealed by an EC Engr)
Photocopies of each professional’s valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID and current Professional Tax Receipts with seal; and 3 specimen signatures of each professional.
