In this Goalcast Epics short movie inspired by true events, a single father and retired boxer, Isea ‘Ice’ Jackson is forced to face off against the most dangerous boxer alive - undefeated champion Kurt ‘The Mountain’ Backstrom. If Jackson wins, he’ll earn enough money to pay for his son's chemotherapy. But if Backstrom wins, Max could die. What happens next is will take your breath away... How far would you go to save your child’s life?

SYNOPSIS
The life of a struggling single-father, Isea Jackson, gets thrown upside down when his 5 years old son, Max Jackson, gets diagnosed with brain cancer. Unable to afford medical treatment, Isea decides to come out of his boxing retirement and signs up for the national tournament.
When his opponent, light heavyweight champion, Kurt ‘The Mountain’ Backstrom, hears about Isea’s plans, he bursts into his gym and accuses Isea of condemning his son to a death sentence. The underdog chances of winning are slim to none - and Kurt will not go easy on him.
Isea knows he can’t afford to lose. He promises his son he will win. He trains alongside his coach, long-forgotten boxing legend Eddy Fitzgerald. One afternoon, Eddy interrupts his sparring session. Something terrible just happened.
Isea runs around hospital corridors. As nurses and doctors try to restrain him. Isea slowly realizes that his son has already passed away.
With no reasons left to carry on, Isea abandons his plans. As he packs up his bags, his trainer Eddy shares one last story with him - the story of Buster Douglas, the first man to ever defeat Mike Tyson, days after his mom died. Eddy convinces Isea not to die with his boy, but to live for him. He reminds Isea to keep his promise.
Isea gets ready for the fight. As he walks towards the ring, he feels his son holding his hand. Isea steps on the ring for the staredown. He appears taller, bigger, stronger than ever. His shadow grows over Kurt Backstrom’s face. He sees nothing, but fear in his opponent’s eyes.
