King's Indian Defence by Damian Lemos

The King's Indian Defence is a popular opening choice at all levels. From club players to Super-GMs like Hikaru Nakamura, Teimour Radjabov or Garry Kasparov you regularly see this opening arising on the chess board. In general, we can classify the King's Indian as a modern approach on chess openings, where Black allows White to occupy the centre with his pawns. Later, he tries to challenge to centre with the pawn moves ...e5 or ...c5. In many variations, the resulting unbalanced positions offer scope for both sides to play for a win.
