Here's a fabulous debut on Pure Trance from Ben (Stoby) & Sonia Stobbart consisting of 3 meditative Balearic trance numbers. The title track Zen sets the tone with its smooth Tabla groove, plaintive cries and warm pads. Tatakoto – named for an atoll in French Polynesia – retains the tone but lowers the tempo & goes a little deeper with a mist of arpeggios. Finally, the 3rd track completing this heartening trilogy Hidden embraces rolling breakbeats and strings with an inspirational post-break lift.
