Bill Willingham's Elementals - the out of print indy comics classic of the 80's

Bill Willingham is best known for his work on DC/Vertigo's Fables series, but started his comics career with the Indy breakout hit The Elementals.

Take a walk down memory lane and check out the prototype for the "mature readers" superhero comic. It's one of the few great books of that era that has not been reprinted, so to read it you'll have to track down the back issues.
