This black and white movie "Sinners in Paradise" is a 1938 American adventure film directed by James Whale. The main roles are played by Madge Evans (Anne Wesson), John Boles (Jim Taylor), Bruce Cabot (Robert Malone).

A seaplane on its way to China crashes into the Pacific Ocean during a storm. The passengers wash up on an island inhabited only by the American Jim Taylor (John Boles) and his servant Ping (Willie Fung). Taylor fell in love with one of the passengers, young nurse Ann Wesson....
