Hi , Ronnie o'sullivan fan here , and to be honest , watching this frame i was thinking it's gonna be 10-11 o'sullivan even after he missed that blue , i didn't envisage that carter could make this cracking clearance with all the pressure that comes with it , i wanted him to miss but he kept potting and potting until he cleared up and went 12-9 needing only one frame to book his first quarter final in the crucible since 2012 , and also the small matter of beating Ronnie O'sullivan for the very first time, nothing against Ali , but i wanted ronnie to win and have a crack at a sixth world title , Ali was the better player by far , played three great sessions , and deserved this win, you can't ignore this fact ! i wish Ali a good luck for the rest of the tournament ,he'll have the winner of Mark Williams vs Robert Milkins match , i would love him to have a world title in his CV , he's a great character even though a lot of people don't like his attitude during the game , but it's a competition , and he was so determined to win, and YES it was the Ali Carter Show! the captain has landed the Rocket ..
