Framing With Spacers: Methods for Picture Framing (Jessica Jones)

Hey, guys! I thought I'd give some info – if not introduce – about using 'spacers' for framing purposes. As of right now, during the posting date of this video, I've been working at Michaels for a little over a year now, and I've noticed something serious! There are so many people who are completely unaware of the dangers that can happen to an art piece, a print, a document, a photo, etc. if they're not framed correctly. For example, whether you choose to have glass, acrylic, or whatnot, within your frame, they can eventually stick to whatever it is your framing over time. There are so many ways to prevent the sticking of glass or acrylic, and making sure fading or bacteria enters the frame to cause ugly damage. As for this video, I'm showing how I go about framing things with spacers at what I find to be quite easy, and quite affordable. I hope this video helps others who are looking to frame . . . or had no idea about the damages that could occur if not properly framed.
