How To Season or Cure My Claypot Tagine For First Time Use

Tagine is a cookware commonly used in Northern Africa including Morocco, Algiers, Tunisia. Seasoning means conditioning it, coating the cookware with a non-stick layer, usually oil, to prevent the elements of the cookware to interact with the food. Cast iron cookware is seasoned. So are tagines made of terra cotta (clay), especially if unglazed.
