Modeling Discharges from Human ESD up to High Voltages Using Multiphysics Simulation (EMA Expo 2025)

We will demonstrate the set up of air ESD simulation to a handheld device (cell phone) with internal components. We will also discuss visualization of secondary arcing inside the device and various mitigation methods. Finally, we will demonstrate an integration with Nexxim to help facilitate ESD mitigation using diodes.
