Earl Slick on Collaborating with David Bowie feat. Golden Years & Stay | Reverb Interview
David Bowie had collaborations with some fantastic guitar players: Mick Ronson, Roberb Fripp, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Earl Slick. Slick was kind enough to sit down with Reverb and discuss a few of the riffs he contributed to Bowie's work. The first two riffs, from Bowie's Station to Station record, are "Golden Years" and "Stay". Slick also jumps forward to another record he worked on, 2013's 'The Next Day' for the song "Valentine's Day".
