Lost Boys Trail - Chile Challenge 2018 - Reckless Wrench Garage
This is day one of our time at Chile Challenge 2018. The first trail we ran was "Lost Boys", it is rated hard on the difficulty scale. The trail leaders decided that our group should run a moderate trail called "Scratch" that led to the Lost Boys trail. Overall neither trail was particularly difficult. Both trails had several boulder fields and drivers were continually navigating random medium sized boulders throughout the trail. Near the end of Lost Boys is a 6 foot waterfall that rewards drivers for getting through the trail by offering a cool obstacle to play on. There is a bypass to left for those who do not wish to attempt the waterfall.
Our group was large at 13 vehicles, and we moved slow through both trails. We experienced some mechanical issues throughout the day. We do not recommend this trail for groups larger than 10 people, and a minimum of 35'' tires and front and rear lockers is recommended.
