Peter Dutton ‘talking about the right issues’ but ‘not’ right solutions

Hawker Britton Managing Director Simon Banks believes Opposition leader Peter Dutton is “talking about the right issues” but “not” about the right solutions.

According to the Resolve Strategic poll, Peter Dutton is leading Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on preferred prime minister 36 per cent to 35 per cent.

“The problem for Peter Dutton is that he’s voted against past power pricing relief, he didn’t like the form of the tax cuts that have helped particularly low and middle-income Australians and his plan for nuclear energy is going to put up the cost of energy, not bring it down,” Mr Banks told Sky News Australia.

“He’s talking about the right issues; the problem is he’s not talking about the right solutions.”
