Dogs VS. Porcupine (No tunes)

Both dogs ran off during morning chore time and came back (hours apart) with faces full of porcupine quills. This is porcupine run in #2 for the other dog, who came home later, and wouldn't let me touch her face. The two ultimately had to go to the emergency vet, (to the tune of over $800) due to quills in the roof of their mouth, Ugh.
Disclaimer: Don't try this at home even if you have an extremely trusting dog, go straight to the vet. I live in the middle of nowhere, and didn't have a working vehicle at the time.
