Easy DIY Windshield Channel Rust Repair

Join us as we repair some minor rust under the urethane windshield glue. This is a very common issue on vehicles that have had their glass replaced previously. If you address this issue early, it will simply be surface rust instead of pinholes in the steel.
Update*** The vehicle I first performed this procedure on over three years ago is still leak and issue free. The vehicle pictured in this video has been daily driven for over 9 months and is leak and issue free.
The glass shop expressed 0 apprehension in installing and warranting a windshield over this repair.
