2-Minute Tow + Park Checklist

BEFORE TOWING
TRUCK
- [ ] ◦ Battery voltage is healthy (12.4V or higher if available)
- [ ] ◦ Trailer plug is connected
- [ ] ◦ Brake controller is connected and tested
- [ ] ◦ Tow/Haul mode is on
- [ ] ◦ Mirrors are adjusted
TRAILER
- [ ] ◦ Hitch is locked and pin is in place
- [ ] Sway bars attached to hitch and chains secure and pinned
- [ ] ◦ Safety chains are crossed
- [ ] ◦ Breakaway cable is attached
- [ ] ◦ Lights are checked (brake, turn, running, flashers)
- [ ] ◦ Steps are up and doors are latched by
- [ ] Scissor jacks are up
AFTER PARKING / OVERNIGHT
- [ ] ◦ Battery protection steps
- [ ] ◦ Trailer is unplugged from the truck
- [ ] ◦ Utility compartment lights are off
- [ ] ◦ Exterior lights are off
- [ ] ◦ Refrigerator mode is set correctly (shore power or propane)
- [ ] ◦ Truck is fully off, doors closed, no accessories running
Additional steps for boondocking or city parking
- [ ] ◦ Battery disconnect is on (if equipped)
- [ ] ◦ Trickle charger is connected if shore power is available
MORNING CHECK BEFORE STARTING
Ask yourself:
- [ ] ◦ Was the trailer unplugged overnight
- [ ] ◦ Are any trailer lights on
- [ ] ◦ Was anything new added to 12V power

INSIDE BREAKDOWN
- [ ] ◦ Dogfood & water in truck for travel
- [ ] Home Decor taken down and stored
- [ ] ◦ Windows locked
- [ ] ◦ Vents closed
- [ ] ◦ LP off
- [ ] ◦ Battery off
- [ ] . All cabinets secured
- [ ] ◦ Final walk around truck and trailer
