In this episode of Minutes With, we speak to Krisha Thapa about his incredible experience in the Royal Gurkha Rifles and the SAS. Krishna grew up in the foothills of the Annapurna mountain in Nepal, where becoming a Gurkha is one of the most respected and competitive roles. Following his parents' dreams of him joining the force, Krishna completes the gruelling selection before coming to the UK to train. Noticed for his ability and aptitude, Krishna is invited to be part of the first Gurkha soldiers to join the SAS where he completes 12 tours in Afghanistan; one of the longest stints for a special forces operator.

Now, Krishna works in mountaineering, assisting disabled veterans and civilians climbing mountains, including Everest, Mont Blanc, and Kilimanjaro.
