FIFA World Cup | Flying South Africa's flag in Mexico

It's just 26 days to go to kick-off of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Mexico and the excitement is slowly building around the competeition.

Among those who are excited about this tournament is a 10-year-old Boy Luca Human-Mare.

Luca has been selected as the only South African child who will serve as one of many official FIFA World Cup ball carriers for the tournament.

He will perform this task for Bafana Bafana vs Czech Republic match on the 18th of June as the official ball carrier.
