ALWAYS TAKE THE WEATHER WITH YOU! Why Montreal has its 'Weird' Position on the F1 Calendar

Montreal is lumped right in the middle, with a European race either side. And it's been that way for many years.

But why does it have to be there when there's the US Grand Prix later on in the year, and the Mexican GP for that matter? And the Miami Grand Prix has just been dumped in between Imola and another European race too.

As is often the case in Formula One, it's more than a case of 'Just do this' or 'Just do that'...
