“Son, whether you want to win a girl or crack a nut, the key is persistence. Keep at it and never lose your cool.”

Ah yes, the age-old “just keep at it” strategy. Bulletproof. Definitely doesn’t sound like the kind of advice that gets people banned from coffee shops.

This episode is an absolute goldmine for some of the best Simpsons funny moments. Chief Wiggum being completely oblivious, Ralph being endearingly dumb, and a lesson that should absolutely not be followed. No wonder this ranks among the best of Chief Wiggum.
