Winter mode: What does it really do and should you have it on or off.

Sadly, anything connected to the battery technology or care thereof is either secret or sanitised into a generic description which tells you very little.

Hopefully this explains the feature a little better.

I've concluded it's virtually irrelevant to me unless It's -10 outside and I need to rapid charge my car before I drive it, which basically isn't going to happen.

Winter mode is for those who have proper winter conditions for our longed periods and need to use their Kona in all conditions every day.

Its good to know however where the extreme limits are and what the car will do to help.
