Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky is facing domestic rebellion amid setbacks on the battlefield against Russia. Zelensky is reportedly planning to fire Ukraine Army Chief Valery Zaluzhny. However, the country's capital Kyiv’s mayor has come out in stiff opposition and even warned Zelensky of “negative consequences” if the Army chief is sacked. In a veiled dig at the Ukrainian President, the Kyiv Mayor said, “politics can outweigh common sense”.
