Hobbit 4k Angry-Cut: Barrel-Riders

The Hobbit: Angry-Cut Edition.
A fan-edit of The Hobbit: entire trilogy combined into a 4k 3.5-hour epic in the tradition of Lawrence of Arabia, Doctor Zhivago, and Ben Hur, etc. (Also in 1080p, 720p, 480p Screener).

I know: "OMG another fan-edit of The Hobbit!?"

What makes this version different is that it is cut by an experienced director, not a professional editor. Though editors must be great story-tellers, *how* the story is told is why there is often a director: to direct. I've seen most other fan-edits and they just don't do it for me, so I made this one.

Many other fan-edits eliminate the "Barrel-Riders" sequence Orc battle completely. But this creates a problem later in the Lake-Town Armory scene when Kili trips and falls and alerts the authorities by loudly spilling his load. But Kili is a dwarf, they are dextrous and nimble, so how is this faltering explained? This is why we need to show Kili being injured during this sequence. Foreshadow is a very important story-telling aspect than many fan-editors often forget to take into account.

In the Angry-Cut Edition orcs are mentioned and described often, but never seen. Not a single orc appears on screen until now. It is time for them to make their initial appearance in the movie. This clip demonstrates how their appearance is limited to the river-gate area of the Woodland realm, giving the appearance that the attack is on the elves, and not the Okenshield Company itself.
