Leader of the Band tribute dedicated to our Dad (Dan Fogelberg cover with lyrics CC)

Our father Tom Rucci passed away on November 1, 2017, a little over 2 months ago, from a 2 year battle with adenocarcinoma. My brother Dan Rucci and I dedicated this song to him and played it at his funeral mass. Leader of the Band, written and performed by Dan Fogelberg, made a perfect song to dedicate to him, since my brother Dan and I are both musicians and performers.
I felt a big desire to give my dad a proper recreation of the song we played for his funeral here on Youtube. While the song may be sad, it encapsulates our love and respect for the man he was.
