Managing ties with the U.S. and China will be a challenge for Singapore's new leader, says professor
Lawrence Wong was sworn in as Singapore’s new prime minister on Wednesday, in the country’s first leadership change in 20 years.
One challenge that he will face is having to maintain Singapore’s good ties with the U.S. and China, even when the nation needs to take sides on certain issues in the future, said this professor.
