Silver is used as an investment, currency, or simply a store of value. Silver is a precious metal. It is used in manufacturing and construction. When it comes to commodities, silver correlates well with gold, which is another precious metal. The two go in hand in mining companies that mine both of them. These mining companies could be found in gold miner etfs such as GDX, GDXJ, JNUG, or NUGT. The inverse of these etfs are JDST and DUST. Heightened trade tensions has increased the value of metal commodities such as gold and silver.
