Dennis Kelly was Rockwell’s ode to Michelangelo, in "The Recruit".

Frank Navarro, modeled for the coach in The Recruit, while he was the football coach for Williams College. Navarro’s legendary record includes 21 years of head coaching roles for Williams, Columbia, Wabash and Princeton.
