Aristotle on Humour and Laughter [Philosophy of Humour]

Aristotle provided some early considerations on humour and laughter. Taking inspiration from his teacher and mentor, Plato, Aristotle supported the Superiority Theory of Humour but also proposed the moderation of humour (Golden Mean) and some initial thoughts on the association between humour and incongruities.
