BETTER POSITION PLAY OFF TWO SIMILAR POOL SHOTS! AVOID THE SCRATCH!

I notice many beginners not realize the trajectory of the CB after initial contact can sometimes be the whole problem and nothing else. I've seen the best ball makers make the simple mistakes on positional play and yet still pull off the win. I think making the game easier is the goal even though making pretty shots can be nice sometimes, but not during a final match. Have you ever needed to use the first shot I showed as a last resort or just a natural position to move the CB around the table?
