Reconstructive Surgery Gave These Animals a 2nd Chance
In 2016, Vitoria the goose became the first of her kind in the world to get a 3D-printed beak. The injured bird had been found off the coast of Brazil. So a 3D designer got to work to help replace what Vitoria had lost. Something similar happened that same year to another feathered friend, as Gigi the parrot got her prosthetic beak. And a friendly dog rescued from a California highway showed new life after having a 46-pound tumor removed. #InsideEdition
