Superhero costumes may look awesome and work to bring our favourite characters to life, but sometimes the actors who wear them don’t think they are so cool….We can take the discomfort the actors feel wearing the suits for granted, but wearing heavy makeup and tight fitting suits for hours on end can be strenuous work and can be very emotionally taxing on the actors. That's why many actors really did not enjoy the costumes they wore, with some even swearing off playing the character again, while others just had to take a deep, albeit difficult, breath and move on.

In this video we will take a look at some of the most uncomfortable experiences actors faced while wearing their superhero/comic book costumes. From actors nearly suffocating while wearing their costume, some taking eight hours to put on, to actors needing help to go to the bathroom from members of crew- these are some of the hardest outfits to wear in the movie business.
