How To: Trailer LED Solar Light Installation + 12 Volt DC Hardwired Vehicle Fast Charger And USB Charger Accessory Install. This diy is for my boy scout troops trailer that desperately needed an update electrically. So I added in all the modern accessories that I think are a must have by todays standards. This trailer has a battery that gets a trickle charge from a roof mounted 2ah solar panel and a diode isolated quick charger through the 4 pin trailer harness. I also outfitted the trailer with a 6 port USB charger for mobile device charging as well.
