How to Sound Like You Can Improvise (Even If You Can’t)

In this video I show you a simple way to begin guitar improvisation using one string for the melody and open string drones for support. It sounds musical, feels natural under the fingers, and immediately pushes you to think in sound instead of patterns.

You will not become a great improviser in ten minutes. But this approach removes the noise, builds phrasing, and gives you real control over melody and harmony. It works especially well for fingerstyle guitar and melodic playing.

Let me know how this feels when you try it.
