Elephants at Lunchtime, October 2019, Zambia

On October 19, 2019 we were on our way to the restaurant for lunch at Chongwe River Camp in Zambia (Lower Zambezi NP) and discovered a big surprise when we arrived: An elephant was standing right next to our table and was eating all the lemons that were stored behind the bar. When he finally left the restaurant area we started our lunch, however in the meantime there were even more elephants that had crossed the river and were on the way to our camp. Luckily they stayed out of the restaurant and we could watch them pass by. What an incredible experience!
