Grey Academia is very similar to Dark Academia, except it’s supposed to be less problematic. However, things are not that simple, and in this video, I will explain why Grey Academia might be a failed venture. I also give an introduction into the concept of academia aesthetics, and the issues surrounding Dark Academia, in terms of lack of representation of people of color, sexism and elitism.
