Highlands, Castles & Hogwarts Express

A compilation of drone footage taken over several months from Scotland.

Locations featured include the Jacobite steam train running along the Fort William to Mallaig railway which has several locations featured in the Harry Potter films for the Hogwarts Express including the highly recognisable Glenfinnan Viaduct, the iconic Castles of Stalker and Kilchurn, Glencoe, and the glen featured in the James Bond film Skyfall.

The soundtrack is Trevor Jones' Promentory, which is the evocative track used in the final scenes of the 1992 film The Last of the Mohicans. Although the film has no relevance to the Scottish Highlands, the Trevor Jones track's violin piece is inspired by Scottish musician Dougie Maclean's own piece called The Gael.

Footage was filmed using a DJI Phantom 2 with GoPro Hero 4 Black.
