I improvised for 5 mins a day for 30 days

Improvisation is playing something spontaneous without planning. We all love to noodle about but is this really improvising? I want to get better at improvising on the guitar so I decided to challenge myself to improvise every day for 30 days. Will this challenge help me to improve at improvising?
