Behind Artemis II: training, operations and preparation | GMV

Preparing a crewed mission beyond low Earth orbit requires extensive work long before launch. As part of the Artemis II mission, GMV has been involved in training and operational support activities that help ensure teams, systems and procedures are ready for flight.

This contribution is delivered within ESA’s Training, Logistics and Operations (TLO) contract under ALTEC, supporting training, mission preparation and operations.

Within this context, our colleague Merel Van Walleghem based at European Astronaut Centre (EAC) has contributed to the Artemis II crew and NASA operations teams training in Houston, focusing on EveryWear, a CNES-owned application jointly developed with ESA. EveryWear provides tools to support the Flight Surgeons in monitoring the crew health throughout the mission.
