Just how fast is a C64 with a Super CPU for BASIC programmers then?

Well how about being able to write BASIC v2 games that run as fast as machine code.

Here we have me making turbo loader type flashing borders using 1 line of BASIC, with no random number generation it is executing 3 instructions almost as fast as the electron beam scans down the screen amazingly, that is Atari VCS territory!

And just for a laugh I tried to use the 4 bit volume control of the SID chip to turn it into a PC Speaker/Spectrum Buzzer using 1 line of BASIC. So you could convert all those machine code 4mhz Speccy games to Commodore BASIC v2 now woooo :D

Well I hope you all rush out now and start using the Commodore 64 Super CPU emulator now.
