Kim Box is an international speaker, author, leader, and entrepreneur. She is the CEO and President of Kamere, Inc., a technology company with the mission to "Amplify the power of inspiration to uplift humanity."
Kim is a former Vice President at Hewlett-Packard, where she led a global organization of more than 15,000 employees in over 100 locations, and is the author of Woven Leadership The Power of Diversity to Transform your Organization for Success. Currently, she is a Director on the American River Bank Board of Directors and is active in the community serving as the Chair of the American Red Cross Capital Region Chapter Board of Directors and the American Leadership Forum Board of Directors. She is a founder and Executive Director of Pathway to Prevention, a nonprofit with a mission of prevention and early intervention of teenage drug and alcohol addiction. She led the project to produce an Emmy-winning documentary on teen substance abuse in order to educate and reduce teen addiction. Kim lives in Granite Bay, California, with her family and pursues her passions of competing in triathlons, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
