How One Company Turns Plastic Waste Into Reusable Packaging

Loop Industries takes already-existing plastic items and polyester fiber materials — like carpets and t-shirts — then breaks them down to be turned into new plastic products, avoiding the use of petroleum and natural gas.

The video says Pepsi, Evian, and Coca-Cola are using Loop resin. The companies are not yet using Loop’s resin, however, they plan to when Loop’s South Carolina plant is operational. Insider regrets the error.
