How to do the Ralph MacDonald Groove

Here's a Break down of a very well known groove that the Late Great, Grammy Award Winning Ralph MacDonald would do.

Growing up listening to this groove gave me a different view when approaching genres outside the Latin environment. Again, Ralph had many more grooves and would include them in various genres... This groove in particular always stood out to me.
