When I get asked to travel somewhere for a wedding, it always blows my mind that someone would have me out to their wedding. The longer I have done this, and the more my YouTube channel grows, the more people find me from all over the place. Although Dallas is only a 4 hour drive away, I have mainly been shooting weddings in Oklahoma over the last 15 years. That is, until the last year or two. I have been to Italy, Mexico, California, South Carolina and many other places, and it is all because people are really starting to see the value of wedding videography. It is more than just someone with a camera. I added it up, and I am about to pass 600 weddings filmed in the last 15 years. 600 couples have trusted me with their memories. It blows my mind.

This brings us to Chandler and Eli’s wedding in Dallas at Verona Villa. I brought in my good buddy Blake Pollino, of Blake Pollino Films to help me second shoot this wedding, and we had a blast. Why? Because Chandler and Eli were so great. Like really, they were so great to work with. They made my job so easy. Willing to do things like get vulnerable, answer questions on camera, but mainly, they just treated us like family. I love that about this job. I get a new set of friends every time I go film a wedding.

I have to say, when a groom gets emotional as his bride is walking down the aisle will never get old to me. And Eli didn’t disappoint. They opted on no first look (which is always fine by me), and when he did finally get to see her, he couldn’t keep his eyes dry. Ahh! It was so much fun.
