Efren "BATA" Reyes went to the United States to hustle. At a very young age, he played pool for a living. When he is considered a top class player in his homeland, but not yet internationally recognized, he went to the United States to hustle. He ended up winning almost every tournament there and shocked everyone with his one of a kind stroke and incredible shooting skills. He won the 1994 US open 9-ball championship defeating every opponent along the way. He even became the number 1 ranked pool player in the pro billiards tour.
