Nin is a charming town located in northern Dalmatia, about 14 km northwest of Zadar. The city is located on a miniature island, in the middle of a beautiful lagoon and has a rich history because it was founded in Roman times. Currently, Nin is a picturesque, quiet town with narrow streets and several wonderful monuments reminiscent of its rich past.
There are sandy lagoons in the area around the city. About 2 km south of Nin there are deposits of mineral-rich mud, which are used to treat rheumatic diseases and skin diseases./
