Boat Fishing For Big Smooth Hounds

For this latest episode we left our home county of Norfolk and headed down to Essex, as we had a special trip planned aboard Phil Whites boat the Chinook II out of Bradwell.

The sheltered waters of the Thames Estuary offer a huge range of sea angling opportunities, and all manner of species can be targeted throughout different parts of the year. However in the summer months, one species that really grabs the sea anglers attention is the hard fighting Smooth Hound and this was exactly what we had in our sights.
