The Last Shah

The last Shah of Iran, His Imperial Majesty Mohammad Rezā Shāh Pahlavi, King of kings, Light of the Aryans and Head of the Warrors was the last great Persian ruler before the 1979 revolution. He ruled from 1941 until 1979 when he was brought down by terrorists, both communist and religious fanatics after being abandoned by his former "allies" the U.S. and U.K. He died in 1980 of cancer and since his overthrow Iran has been a tyrannical theocratical republic.
