AEOLUS Quartet perform at Cornell University
New York City's acclaimed Aeolus Quartet presented "Mysterium" at Cornell University's Sage Chapel in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.
The program featured Oswaldo Golijov’s "Tenebrae," which was inspired by the "Pale Blue Dot" photo taken by Voyager 1 of the Earth and the basis of Carl Sagan’s book of the same name; "Mysterium" by Alexandra Bryant and Beethoven's "Op 131."
The program was presented by Cornell University's School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions on July 16, 2019.
